Lesson 21: Route Dampening
This last unit discusses route dampening as a tool for scaling an AS by preventing flapping routes from a peer from destabilizing BGP. The basic concepts of route dampening are introduced, followed by a configuration example and a demonstration of the effects of the configured dampening on an unstable prefix.
